BiographyTerry was born and raised in Calgary Alberta , and attended the University of Calgary where he earned a B.A in History and Economics, did graduate work in European history, and took courses to fulfill the requirement for a teaching certificate. erry started his teaching career in Grande Cache, but soon moved to Medicine Hat . He taught Social Studies at MHHS and CHHS , where he served as Department head for many years. In addition to his teaching, Terry was proud to work with students in extra curricular activities , such as football coach, student union advisor, and key club advisor. As well as his work with students, Terry is well known for his work for his professional organization %u2013 The Alberta Teachers' Association %u2013 both at the local and provincial levels. He is proud of the legacy of cooperation between local teachers and the local school board, a cause he has served for over 30 years. |
